Fleet Training is becoming increasingly more important to companies of any size that require their employees to drive as part of their work. Trident Driver Training offer affordable fleet training on all driver categories.

ALL businesses are required to carry out an annual risk assessment of any employees who drive as part of their job. Businesses with more than 5 employees are required to maintain documentation. Any risks which are identified MUST have remedial action. While many businesses use "in house" assessors, they need to be sure the assessment and training is of an acceptable standard as thay may need to rely on this in court. The only way you can be assured of this is to use qualified fleet trainers.

The legal requirement applies as much to employees who drive as part of their job as it does to employees in a factory or office environment. Proposed changes to the law will allow companies to be prosecuted directly when it can be identified that management has failed in it's duty of care by allowing a system of fleet and driver control to operate below a standard that could be reasonably expected.

The location for the fleet training can be at your premises or at a mutually agreed location. The preferred ratio is 1 or 2 drivers per trainer. The duration of the course is determined by your training requirements and is tailored to your company’s specific needs.
